Conway, Ark.- Ethan Spillers set two new school records and the men's swim and dive team placed second in day one of the Hendrix College Winter Invite Friday night in Conway.

Hendrix College finished with 311 points, while the Eagles had 203.5 points. Millsaps College had 131.5 points for third. 

Spillers, a freshman, had a pair of record-breaking performances for the Eagles. He set the new record in the 200 IM with a time of 1:58.55. He beat the previous record by eight seconds. Spillers also has the new record in the 100 backstroke with a time of 54.35. He topped the previous record by one second. 

Complete times for the Eagles will be announced as they are received.
