Hendrix College Swim And Dive Tops Eagles

Clarksville, Ark. - The men's swim and dive team took on Hendrix College for the fourth time this season and the Warriors topped the Eagles 158-68 Tuesday night.

The Eagles placed second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:43.50. Joel Coppernoll won the 1000 free with a time of 10:41.45. In the 200 free, Isaiah Dial was the team's top finisher at second with a time of 1:57.32. Nicolai Van Zyl placed third in the 50 free with a time of 23.33. In the 200 IM, Ethan Spillers placed second with a time of 2:05.95. In the men's one-meter (voluntary) dive, Michael Vargas placed second scoring 114.25. In the 100 butterfly, Spillers placed second with a time of 54.37. In the 100 free, Matthew Shelton placed third with a time of 55.25. In the 100 back, Nicolas White was fourth with a time of 1:07.69. In the 500 free, Coppernoll placed first with a time of 5:10.19. In the one-meter (optional) dive, Vargas scored 111.30 for second place. In the 100 breaststroke, Van Zyl placed second with a time of 1:03.89. In the 200 free relay, the Eagles placed third with a time of 1:46.75.
