Men's Swim Team Wins Centenary Dual

The Eagles won the Centenary Dual.

Shreveport, La. - The Eagles won the Centenary College Dual Saturday 141-42 in Shreveport, Louisiana, in a dual and came up short 125-95.

The Eagles were the only team in the 200 medley relay and posted a time of 1:57.0. In the 200 free, Nicolas White placed second with a time of 2:10.45. In the 50 back, Tyler Hamrick placed first with a time of 29.16. Michael Vargas placed second with a time of 29.84. In the 50 breaststroke, Nicolai Van Zyl placed first with a time of 29.04. Tyler Young was third with a time of 38.02. Ethan Spillers won the 100 fly with a time of 56.75 and Isaiah Sullivan placed second with a time of 1:03.03. In the 50 free, Van Zyl placed first with a time of 23.56. White placed fourth with a time of 27.78. In the 100 free, Spillers was first with a time of 52.67, Sullivan was second with a time of 56.77 and Young was third with a time of 1:04.43. In the 100 back, Hamrick was first (1:02.19) and Vargas was second (1:07.13).  In the 100 breaststroke, Van Zyl was first with a time of 1:04.64. Nicolas White won the 500 free with a time of 5:49.26. In the 50 fly, Sullivan was second with a time of 27.21 and Hamrick was third with a time of 27.53. In the 100 IM, Spillers was first with a time of 1:00.24. Young was third with a time of 1:14.73. The Eagles were the only team in the 200 free relay and swam a 1:43.85.
