Men's Swim And Dive Team Competes Against Rhodes College

Clarksville, Ark. - The men's swim and dive team hosted Rhodes College Friday night in a dual and came out with a 233-47 loss.

The dual started with the 200 medley relay and the Eagles came in third place swimming a 1:45.50. In the 1000 free, Wiley Grantham finished fourth with a time of 11:52.24 and Nicolas White placed fifth with a time of 12:05.22. In the 200 free, Isaiah Dial placed fourth with a time of 2:03.04. In the 50 free, Ethan Spillers swam a 27.10 for fourth place, Michael Vargas swam a 29.35 for fifth place and Tyler Hamrick swam a 29.57 for sixth place. In the 50 breaststroke, Nicolai Van Zyl placed fourth with a time of 28.65 and Nicolas White placed sixth with a time of 36.50. In the 50 free, Wiley Grantham placed fourth with a time of 29.44. In the one-meter dive (5 voluntary), Michael Vargas posted a score of 74.40 for second place. Daniel Sanderson scored 73.88 for third place. In the 100 back, Tyler Hamrick placed fourth with a time of 1:04.48 and Tyler Young placed fifth with a time of 1:11.85. In the 100 breaststroke, Nicolai Van Zyl placed third with a time of 1:04.44. In the 500 free, Nicolas White placed fifth with a time of 5:40.16, Isaiah Dial placed sixth with a time of 5:43.79 and Wiley Grantham placed seventh with a time of 5:54.27. In the 50 fly, Ethan Spillers placed fourth with a time of 25.35. In the one-meter dive (6 optional), Daniel Sanderson scored 93.83 for second place and Michael Vargas scored 83.70 for third place. In the 200 IM, Ethan Spillers placed third with a time of 2:06.75 and Tyler Hamrick placed fourth with a time of 2:22.50. In the 200 free relay, the Eagles placed fourth with a time of 1:41.63.
