Warriors Edge Eagles In Dual

Hendrix slipped past the Eagles in a dual on Monday.

Clarksville, Ark.- The Hendrix College men's swim and dive team slipped past the Eagles 121-93 Monday afternoon in a dual.

The Eagles won the 200 IM relay with a time of 1:44.36. In the 1000 free, Daniel Del Moral Diaz placed second with a time of 11:46.50. Wiley Grantham placed fourth with a time of 12:00.65. Ethan Spillers won the 200 free with a time of 1:55.78. Isaiah Dial placed fifth with a time of 2:03.89. Nicolai Van Zyl won the 50 free with a time of 22.89. Tyler Hamrick placed fourth with a time of 24.31. In the 100 IM, Nicolas White placed fourth with a time of 1:10.64 and Tyler Young placed fifth with a time of 1:11.10. Michael Vargas won the one-meter 5 voluntary 9.0 competition with a score of 114.25. In the 100 fly, Spillers placed second with a time of 55.18. Dial placed third with a time of 1:02.24. In the 100 free, Young placed fourth with a time of 1:03.63. In the 100 back, Hamrick placed second with a time of 1:00.36. Del Moral Diaz placed fourth with a time of 1:05.19 and Vargas finished fifth with a time of 1:10.79. In the 500 free, Grantham placed third with a time of 5:50.75. White placed fourth with a time of 5:56.89.  Vargas won the one-meter 6 optional diving competition with a score of 150.83. In the 100 breaststroke, Van Zyl placed first with a time of 1:04.01. In the 200 medley relay, the Eagles placed second with a time of 1:51.46.
