McMurry Men's Swim & Dive Defeats Eagles

Ethan Spillers won several races against McMurry including the breastroke.

Clarksville, Ark. - The men's swim and dive team had several individual wins, but couldn't get past McMurry University falling 183-105 in a weekend dual.

The Eagles finished second in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:16.99. In the 500 free, Wiley Grantham placed third with a time of 5:30.48. In the 200 back, Nathan Jennings placed second with a time of 2:13.64. Ethan Spillers won the 200 breastroke with a time of 2:25.76. In the 100 free, Grantham placed third with a time of 59.32. Isaiah Dial won the 200 fly with a time of 2:22.33. Spillers won the 200 IM with a time of 2:10.91. The Eagles finished second in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:40.11. Spillers won the 400 IM with a time of 4:44.76. Jennings won the 200 free with a time of 1:57.93. Grantham was third with a time of 2:05.81. In the 50 free, Dial placed fourth with a time of 25.10 and Tyler Young was fifth with a time of 27.31. Dial won the 100 fly with a time of 1:00.70. Jennings won the 100 back with a time of 1:00.90. Spillers won the 100 breastroke with a time of 1:06.53. Young placed fifth with a time of 1:19.27. Grantham placed second in the 1650 free with a time of 19:01.76. The Eagles were second in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:41.67.

The Eagles will head to Sherman, Texas for a dual against Austin College and St Thomas University November 11.
