Men's Tennis Team Drops Season-Opener

Memphis, Tenn.-The men's tennis team suffered a 5-4 loss against NCAA II Christian Brothers University on Saturday in its spring opener in Memphis, Tenn.

Against Christian Brothers, the Eagles would first pick up a couple of wins in doubles action. No. 1 doubles with Dillon Murray and Spencer Turner won 7-5 in a tiebreaker to pull out the win 9-8. No. 3 doubles with Cole Lankford and Jonah Martinez gained a victory at 8-2.

Ozarks would also win at No. 4 singles with Spencer Turner with a decisive 6-4, 6-1 win. Jonah Martinez also added a singles win at the No. 6 position with a score of 6-1, 6-3.

The Eagles will face Rhodes College and Spring Hill College in non-conference action February 12.
