Clarksville, Ark.-For the second time this spring season, University of the Ozarks sophomore Melle Van Duijn was named the American Southwest Conference East Division Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday (April 10).

Van Duijn, a native of New Zealand, posted a 2-0 record at No. 1 doubles and a 1-1 record at No. 1 singles. Van Duijn and Spencer Turner teamed up for an 8-5 win over LeTourneau to start the weekend. Van Duijn also had a 6-2, 6-3 win in singles play against the YellowJackets. Van Duijn and Turner later posted a big 8-6 win against No. 30 UT Tyler to cap a strong weekend of play.

Ozarks will host Centenary College April 11 and Louisiana College April 14.
