Angelo Ito Tost Ranked No. 24 In NCAA III Men's Tennis

Junior tennis star Angelo Ito Tost has been ranked the No. 24 NCAA Division III player in the final national ranking by Oracle and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Clarksville, Ark.-Junior tennis star Angelo Ito Tost has been ranked the No. 24 NCAA Division III men's singles player in the final national ranking by Oracle and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Ito Tost, a native of Brazil, posted a combined fall and spring record of 13-2 in singles play. He is the only player from the American Southwest Conference to receive a final national ranking. He finished the 2019-2020 season ranked fifth in the West Region.

"We are very proud of Angelo and his leadership for us," said head coach Ryan Spencer. "He has an extremely solid game all the way around. He knows how to stay calm and compete throughout the whole match. We are looking forward to what he will continue to do."

In the fall, he became the first player in program history to be nationally ranked in singles, earning a No. 17 spot. In the fall, he was one win away at the Southwest ITA Regional from receiving an automatic bid to the ITA Cup.
