Hendrix College Men Top Ozarks At Arkansas D-III Cross Country Championship

Clarksville, Ark.-The Hendrix College men's cross country team had the first four finishers at the 4.1-mile Arkansas D-III Championship to take the men's team title Wednesday in Clarksville.
  
Hendrix College junior runner Jeffrey Scott placed first with a time of 22:31 to earn the individual title. Andrew Cummings was Ozarks' top runner placing fourth overall with a time of 25:33. Cade Edwards was fifth overall after running a 26:03, while Robert Elder was sixth running a 27:14. Samuel Binns (30:25), Scott Eibes (31:06) and Fernando Valenzuela (34:07) completed Ozarks runners.
    
Hendrix scored 18 points, while Ozarks had 39.
