Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks senior Michael Harris was named the American Southwest Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

The Elkins, Ark., native set a new course record at the 8k University of the Ozarks Invitational, running a time of 26:41.9 to win the race Saturday. Harris helped the Eagles win the team title with a perfect score and pushed the team to its second straight title. Harris has earned five career Runner of the Week awards. 

Ozarks will travel to Memphis for the Rhodes College Invitational September 21.
