Marshall, Texas.-Nationally-ranked East Texas Baptist University took a double-header sweep against the Eagles Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.

ETBU, ranked No. 5 in NCAA III, would shut down Ozarks' offense in game one by limiting it to two hits in a 13-0 loss. ETBU (23-6, 16-3 ASC) would score once in the first, but then added five runs in the second and seven runs in the third. Abby Mork (5-10) took the loss as the starter.

In game two, Ozarks (7-17, 7-13 ASC) took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first behind Haleigh Moore's run. Moore reached on an infield single. But ETBU posted a pair of runs in the bottom half of the first to take a 2-1 lead. A six-run second inning by ETBU put the game at 8-1, and Ozarks was unable to recover. ETBU won the game 9-1. Ozarks generated three hits in the contest, with Moore finishing 2-for-3. Hannah Oler (2-7) took the loss as the starter.

Ozarks will finish its series against ETBU tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.
