Tyler, Texas- The No. 2 UT-Tyler Patriots broke open a tight game and scored six runs in the third inning to post a 9-0 win over the Eagles Friday night in American Southwest Conference play.

The game was scoreless until the bottom of the second. UT-Tyler (29-2, 20-2 ASC) plated one run, but then scored six times on six hits in the third. The Patriots limited Ozarks (6-23, 4-21 ASC) to three hits in the contest.  

Ozarks will complete its series tomorrow in a double-header beginning at 12:00 p.m.
