GAME ONE
The Howard Payne University Yellow Jackets played Ozarks even through two innings at 0-0, but then the Eagles' bats got going in the bottom of the third. The Eagles held a 4-0 advantage after the inning. The bottom of the sixth featured even more runs for the home club. After a two-RBI single by Hailey Ostrander and an RBI single to left by Brooklyn Keeling, freshman Kieara Bryant stepped up and laced a three-run homer to left field. At 10-0, the run rule was placed in effect after just six innings.

GAME TWO

Overview:
The Yellow Jackets started things off with one run scored in the top of the first inning, but the Eagles answered back in the bottom half with five runs, including four off a Kieara Bryant grand slam. Howard Payne attempted a comeback in the third inning with a three-run home run. The Eagles answered immediately with a three-run shot of their own by Taylor Teague. A seven run third inning lifted Ozarks to a 14-5 victory in five innings.

Overview:
The Eagles pitching staff finished off a great series with only one run on four hits, in six innings of work. Katie Ventress picked up the win, and the eight runs Ozarks scored over the first two innings proved to be too much for the visiting Yellow Jackets.
