GAME ONE
Overview:
After three scoreless innings, the Sul Ross State University Lobos exploded for eight runs in the fourth inning en route to a 17-4 win over the Eagles in the season-opener Saturday. The Eagles got one run back in the bottom of the fourth on Brittney Dean's RBI single. The Eagles trailed 10-1 but added two runs of their own in the bottom of the sixth. Sydney Key had an RBI double and Riki Haase had a sacrifice RBI in the sixth. But the Lobos put the game out of reach with seven runs in the seventh frame. Dean and Megan Madden paced the Eagles with two hits.

Overview:
Sul Ross won game two 12-1 behind a five-run first inning. Blaise English blasted her first collegiate home run.
