GAME ONE
Overview:
Howard Payne University jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning and never let the Eagles back into the game as the Yellow Jackets took a 10-0 win in game one. With a 6-0 advantage, Howard Payne scored four runs in the third to put the game out of reach. The Eagles collected two hits in the game.

GAME TWO
Overview:
The Eagles lost a heart-breaker in game two as Howard Payne pushed across the game-winning run in extra innings to secure a 5-4 win. Blaise English blasted a solo home run in the second to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead. Howard Payne tied it in the fourth, but the Eagles scored twice in the sixth to gain a 3-1 lead. In the sixth, English had a sacrifice RBI and Allyson Fultz followed with an RBI double. The Eagles increased the lead to 4-1 in the top of the sixth, but Howard Payne scored three times to even it. The Eagles stranded a runner at third and a runner at first with one out in the top of the eighth. Fultz went 4-for-4 at the plate.
