GAME ONE
Overview:
The Eagles ran into a hot-hitting Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusader team on Senior Day and lost 14-1. The Crusaders seemingly found every gap during the game, especially in the first inning when the visitors scored five runs. The Eagles trimmed it to 5-1 in the bottom of the second when Sierra Jasna scored on a wild pitch. The Crusaders blew the game open in the fifth when they scored eight runs on eight hits. The five seniors for the Eagles were honored prior to the game and included Brittney Dean, Riki Haase, Sydney Key, Megan Madden and Jaela Martin.
