Overview:
Nationally-ranked Belhaven University posted a 11-3 win over the Eagles Thursday afternoon in Mississippi. The Blazers, ranked No. 10 in the most recent NFCA poll, held a 8-0 lead before the Eagles would register a run. In the fifth, Rayli Ruby had an RBI and Reese Ramirez recorded an RBI single. The third run came on a wild pitch. But the Blazers responded with three runs in the bottom half of the inning to take away any momentum the Eagles had. The Blazers recorded 17 hits in the game.
