GAME ONE
Overview:
The Eagles had chances to score but couldn't produce in clutch moments as LeTourneau University took a narrow 2-0 win Friday in game one. The Eagles hung tough throughout the game. LeTourneau took a 1-0 lead in the first inning behind an RBI single. The Eagles matched the YellowJacket offense with two hits in the bottom of the first and had two runners in scoring position with one out only to go scoreless. LeTourneau scored another run in the fourth to make it 2-0. The Eagles looked to threatened in the bottom of the seventh with back-to-back singles with one out. Reese Ramirez drew a walk to load the bases and the Eagles appeared primed for a comeback. However, LeTourneau shutdown the threat with back-to-back outs. The Eagles stranded seven runners in the game. The Eagles' defense was outstanding as it turned four double plays. Blaise English had two hits for the Eagles.

GAME TWO
Overview:
The Eagles again hung tough early in the game only to have LeTourneau take a 11-2 win. LeTourneau led 2-1 after three innings, but scored four runs in the top of the fourth to take a 6-1 advantage. Brittney Dean produced an RBI single in the third and Caley Robles blasted a line drive solo homer over the centerfield fence in the fourth. LeTourneau would later add five runs in the sixth to put the game out of reach.

The Eagles will finish their series against LeTourneau University Saturday at noon. Senior Sydney Key will be honored as part of a Senior Day Celebration Ceremony prior to the game (11:40 am).
