GAME ONE
Overview:
The Eagles hung tough behind the pitching of senior Jaela Martin only to have nationally-ranked East Texas Baptist University overcome an early deficit and pick up a 10-2 win in game one. Martin was spectacular against the No. 4 Tigers. The Eagles gave Martin a 1-0 liked to work with as she kept the Tigers at bay. Brittney Dean doubled in a run to make it 1-0 in the third. Martin retired the side in the first and second inning before the Tigers finally got a hit in the third. But Martin was able to strand that runner. The Tigers then scored three runs in the top of fourth with two outs. The Tigers tacked on three more runs in the fifth, while the Eagles got one run in the bottom half of the inning. Dean had another RBI double in the frame. But that would be all the run support the Eagles could get for Martin. Martin did not issue a walk in the complete game.

GAME TWO
Overview:
The Eagles had the Tigers on the ropes early in the game only to have the visitors make another comeback and win 14-6. After the Tigers scored two in the top of the second, the Eagles exploded for six runs in the bottom half of the inning. Blaise English and Caley Robles started the rally with back-to-back hits. With one out, Megan Madden laced a single down the left field line to score one. Rayli Ruby drew a walk to load the bases. The Tigers then committed an infield error to allow two runs to score. With two outs, Allyson Fultz blasted a three-run homer to put the Eagles in front 6-2. The Eagles were leading 6-5 after four innings, but the Tigers rallied for seven runs with two outs in the fifth to take a commanding 12-6 advantage. Fultz and Madden had two hits.
