Kamryn McKinney scored 17 points and hit three shots from long-range to leads the Eagles to a win.

THE BASICS
Led by a stifling defense, the Eagles cruised past LeTourneau University 56-37 Thursday night to reach seven conference wins on the season. The Eagles held LeTourneau to four points in the second quarter as well as limiting the visitors to 22 percent shooting from the field in the game. The Eagles led 34-16 at halftime and extended their lead to 40-18 with about four minutes remaining in the third quarter. The Eagles' defense never really let LeTourneau back into the contest in the second half. Kamryn McKinney paced the Eagles with 17 points. She also grabbed five rebounds.
