THE BASICS
The Eagles had a good rhythm going to open the game, but couldn't sustain it as Hardin-Simmons University took a 75-62 win to end the season for Ozarks. The Eagles jumped out to a 6-0 lead, but then scored just three points the rest of the quarter. Meanwhile, the Cowgirls scored 15 unanswered points to move in front. The Eagles outscored the Cowgirls 22-21 in the second quarter, but trailed 38-31 at halftime. The Eagles continued to battle hard in the second half and pulled within single digits several times in the second half only to have Hardin-Simmons rally back. The Eagles hit 32 percent from the floor in the game. Kerigan Bradshaw scored 20 points to lead the Eagles. The team's only senior, Shakira Neal, was honored following the game as part of Senior Day.
