THE BASICS
LeTourneau University took advantage of 40 free throw opportunities in a 78-69 win over the University of the Ozarks women's basketball Thursday night. LeTourneau cruised to a 41-28 halftime lead before the Eagles crept back into the game. The Eagles outscored the visitors 20-10 in the third quarter to pull within 54-48 heading into the final ten minutes. Kamryn McKinney and Kerigan Bradshaw combined for 13 third quarter points for the Eagles. In the fourth, LeTourneau went to the free throw line 25 times and made 20. Ajanae Thomas did most of the damage making 14-of-16 during that stretch. Stevie Perkins scored early in the fourth to bring the Eagles within 54-52, but that would be as close as the home team could get. Each time the Eagles made a run, LeTourneau would hit free throws to keep from letting go of the lead. Bradshaw led with 21 points and Janna Rhinehart came off the bench to score 16. The Eagles hit 48 percent from the field, while LeTourneau made 36 percent. LeTourneau finished the game making 31-of-40 from the free throw line.

KEY STATISTICS
LeTourneau hit 31-of-40 from the free throw line in the game.  The YellowJackets made 20-of-25 in the fourth quarter alone.

NOTABLES
Janna Rhinehart came off the bench to score 16 points. Rhinehart hit a couple of clutch shots in the fourth quarter and ended with 11 points. Rhinehart also pulled down six rebounds.
