THE BASICS
Howard Payne University scored 21 points in the fourth quarter en route to a 85-69 win over the Eagles on Senior Day. Seniors Kelsey Dixson, Kamryn McKinney, Brittney Sain and Hannah Weatherford were honored prior to the game for their successes on and off the court. Howard Payne led only 64-57 at the end of the third quarter but the Eagles couldn't slow the Yellow Jackets in the final ten minutes of play. Howard Payne drilled a trio of three-pointers in the fourth quarter and kept the Eagles from, a comeback. The Eagles had four players reach double figures in scoring, led by McKinney's 19 points. Faith Curry scored 17 points, and Janna Rhinehart and Stevie Perkins scored ten points each. McKinney drilled four three-pointers and Rhinehart nailed three.
