THE BASICS
The Eagles lost their second straight game against UT Dallas within the last four days falling to the Comets 81-63 Saturday in American Southwest Conference play. The Eagles jumped out to an early lead owning a 10-2 advantage. The Comets ended the first quarter with a narrow 18-16 lead. The Comets led 36-25 at the half. The third quarter went in favor of the Eagles as they scored 20 points and trailed by only 55-45 heading into the fourth. Kamryn McKinney fueled the Eagles in the third with six points. In the fourth, the Eagles couldn't cut the deficit to single digits as the Comets scored 26 points. Faith Curry led the Eagles with 16 points.
