THE BASICS
Irving, Texas – University of Dallas had a big third quarter scoring 28 points en route to a 77-61 win over the Eagles Sunday in Irving, Texas. The Eagles opened the game with a 19-12 lead, but Dallas fought back to hold a 31-28 lead at halftime. In the third quarter, Dallas hit four three-pointers to ignite a 28-16 run and head into the fourth quarter with a 59-44 advantage. After that, the Eagles had trouble getting back into the game.
