Arkadelphia, Ark.-The Eagles Wrestling Team displayed improvement at the Hatcher Duals in Arkadelphia November 12.

A large number of men won matches to help the team defeat Central Baptist University in the 5th place event 52-0.

In pool A round 1, the men battled Alma College to a tight 33-24 defeat, and had very similar results in round 2 against eventual champion Ouachita Baptist, falling 30-21. The Eagles put together an impressive win in round 3 defeating the Farm Team 48-9 to advance to the 5th place match in the finals.

Key contributors were Devon Jackson in the 125 pound weight class and Sergio Nuget in the 133-pound weight class, who both posted impressive records of 3-1 on the day.

Next up for the Eagles is a trip to Arlington, Texas, for the UT Arlington Duel/Southwest Open November 18-19.
