ON THE MAT
The Eagles took care of business late in the match to secure a 29-18 win over Bacone College Wednesday night in front of a large student body. Nathan Rankin started things off for Ozarks with a fall at 125, getting the maximum six points. At 149, Mario Vasquez defeated his opponent 17-1. Bacone fought back and posted a win at 157. Tracey Eitel responded with a 11-5 win at 165, but Bacone made the match interesting by taking back-to-back fights heading into 197. Freshman Cameron Barnes answered in a big way taking a 7-3 victory and setting up Ozarks for the win. At 285, Adolfo Sotolongo clinched the match with a fall to ignite the crowd.
