Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks sophomore Nathan Rankin was named the Southeast Conference Wrestler of the Week, it was announced Wednesday.

Rankin, a native of Plano, Texas, capped his week with a pin over a Travis Jones, a NCAA national qualifier from Westminster College on Saturday. Rankin's performance this season catapulted him into the NCAA III national rankings. He is No. 11 in D3Wrestle.com list at 125. Rankin qualified for the NCAA III National Championships last season.

It is Rankin's second Wrestler of the Week honor of the season. He is a graduate of Plano East High School.

The Eagles will travel to Montgomery, Alabama, for the Conference Championships February 9.
