PREVIEW: The University of the Ozarks wrestling program has qualified another wrestler to the NCAA Division III Championships. The Eagles had their first-ever national qualifiers last season and followed that history up with a qualification from heavyweight Jerhett Lee in 2019. The National Championships will take place Friday and Saturday, March 8 and 9, in Roanoke, Virginia. Hosted by Ferrum College, Lee (285) advanced to the national championships after finishing third at the regional championships February 23-24. At the National Championships, Lee will face James Bethel in his first match Friday. Bethel, who is from SUNY Oneonto, has posted a 45-1 record this season. Lee comes into his fight with a 34-4 record. Under third-year head coach LeRoy Gardner, the wrestling program has had three wrestlers qualify for Nationals.
