Wrestlers Earn All-Conference, All-Academic

All-Conference First Team included Nathaneal Rankin (125) and Jerhett Lee (285). Miguel Baray made the Second Team.

Clarksville, Ark.-Three University of the Ozarks wrestlers were named to the All-Southeast Conference Team and nine others were named to the All-Academic Team following the team's appearance at the conference tournament.

The First Team included Nathaneal Rankin (125) and Jerhett Lee (285). Miguel Baray (184) made the Second Team. Rankin and Lee won individual conference titles, while Baray placed second.

Rankin was named the conference tournament's most outstanding wrestler and has now won three straight conference titles. He owns a 22-3 record. Lee has posted a 19-2 record and is currently ranked as the No. 2 wrestler in NCAA III. Lee was named the Conference Wrestler of the Year. He also won the SEC title last season. Baray posted a 9-8 overall record this season. Both Rankin and Lee have qualified for the NCAA III National Tournament in their careers. All three wrestlers were All-Conference last season.

Head Coach LeRoy Gardner has guided the Eagles to a runner-up finish at the Southeast Conference Championships in back-to-back seasons. 

Additionally, the Eagles placed 14 wrestlers on the Conference All-Academic Team. The team included Miguel BarayMontre Blade, Stephen Fox, Ndayambaje John, Tinker Kinser, Connor Klein, Jerhett LeeKade McMahonRussell MillerCorey Muniz, Liam Neal, Nathaneal RankinEvan Sharpe and Jaylen York.
