Hendrix (1-0-0) scored off a corner kick in the 35th minute to hold a 1-0 advantage. The Warriors then quickly deflated the Eagles (0-1-0) with another goal just 44 seconds later. Ozarks did recover and play much better in the second half after a rough start. With the team settled in, Ozarks slowed the pace of the game in the second half and recorded four shots while limiting Hendrix to three. Frances Adams and Tiffany Robinson created shots, but couldn't find the back of the net.

Ozarks totaled seven shots in the match with Robinson taking three on her own. Freshman goalkeeper Megan Bradford had two saves.

Ozarks will travel to Memphis, Tenn., to play Rhodes College September 5 and Fontbonne University September 6.
