Ozarks (0-5-1, 0-1-0 ASC) opened play with sound defense and kept Hardin-Simmons (5-1-1, 1-0-0 ASC) from any clean shots. But the Cowgirls eventually broke through the defense and scored around the 10 minute mark. The visitors would then take the match's momentum by adding another goal 20 minutes later. Hardin-Simmons added its third goal to take control on the contest just before halftime. In the second half, Ozarks produced a pair of shots to threaten the Hardin-Simmons defense, but came up empty. Hardin-Simmons kept pressure on Ozarks by tallying nine corner kicks in the match. Megan Bradford recorded nine saves. Ozarks created two shots on goal in the match.

Ozarks will host McMurry University Saturday with kick-off set for 1:00 p.m.
