Four Women's Soccer Players Earn Academic All-District

Four members of the women's soccer team made the 2023 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's Soccer Academic All-District Team.

Clarksville, Ark.-Four members of the women's soccer team made the 2023 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's Soccer Academic All-District Team, it was announced this week.

CSC, formerly known as CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.

The honorees include Lilly Hill, a junior psychology major from Conway, Ark.; Cassidy Hughes, a sophomore communication studies major from Kennedale, Texas; Alex Kasper, a senior biology major from Poteau, Okla.; and Halley Wheeler, a junior midfielder from Rockwall, Texas.

To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-America® program student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, be a significant contributor to the team (compete in 90 percent of the institution's games or start in at least 66 percent of the games), and be at least a sophomore academically.
