More Records Fall As Eagles Take Fourth At Little Rock Swim Invitational

Several new school records were broke Saturday at the Little Rock Invitational.

Little Rock, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks women's and men's swim team broke more school records at the Little Rock Invitational Saturday.

The women's and men's team both placed fourth overall.

In the women's 1000 free, Shalley Coffin posted a new record of 13:12.04. In the women's 200 fly, Catherine Wellborn had a record time of 2:42.53. In the 200 women's breast stroke, Holly Vire set a new record with a time of 2:45.43. In the women's 100 fly, Wellborn posted a time of 1:09.95. In the women's 200 free relay, the combination of Wellborn, Kaitlyn Henrietta, Hailee Rice and Vire had a school best time of 1:56.52. On the men's side, Joel Coppernoll posted a new record of 2:13.26 in the 200 fly. In the 200 free relay, Joshua Collins, Coppernoll, Jacob Jones and Jacob Toland set a new record by swimming a 1:32.92. Complete results of the Invitational were not available Saturday night.
