Women's Swim Team Finishes Third In Hendrix College Relays

Conway, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks women's swim team finished third in the Hendrix College Relays Friday night and sixth in the Hendrix College Classic Saturday afternoon in Conway.

At the Classic, Paige Vire placed third in the 200 breaststroke (2:40.37).

New program records set included Kaitlyn Henrietta 100 freestyle (1:01.38), Shalley Coffin in the 1000 freestyle (12:56.21 )and Paige Vire in the 200 I.M. (2:39.76) and 200 breaststroke (2:40.37). In relays, the Eagles set new records in the 400 freestyle relay (4:12.97) and 800 freestyle relay (10:36.16).

"We had a lot of great races against some tough competition this weekend," said head coach David DeGeus. "It was great to also be able to race more of our conference opponents. We had many best times and we broke 14 school records this weekend."
