Conway, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks women's swim team finished fifth at the Hendrix College Invite over the weekend in Conway.
Catherine Wellborn placed fourth in the 400 individual medley (5:42.12) and set the new program record by almost one minute. Wellborn took fifth in the 200 yard fly (2:43.68).
Wellborn, Kaitlyn Henrietta, Shalley Coffin and Jessie Cave took one minute off of the previous school record in the 400 free relay. Coffin finished off the meet taking down the old team record in the mile by almost four minutes.
"We had a lot of great swims and new best times," said head coach David DeGeus. "The team did well with the heavy event load they had today."
