Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Announces Swimming Academic Honor Roll

Eight University of the Ozarks women's and men's swimmers were named to the 2019 winter Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Academic Honor Roll, it was announced by the league office June 17.

Clarksville, Ark. – Eight University of the Ozarks women's and men's swimmers were named to the 2019 winter Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Academic Honor Roll, it was announced by the league office June 17.

To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.

The honorees include Meghan Cave, a sophomore from Clarksville; Shalley Coffin, a freshman from Waco, Texas; Brenda Sandoval, a senior from Guatemala; Paige Vire, a freshman from Clarksville; Catherine Wellborn, a freshman from Metarie, La.; JaKobe' Durant, a sophomore from Destrehan, La.; Josh Collins, a freshman from Pottsville; and Gustavo Almaraz, a freshman from Clarksville.

Ozarks completed its third season of swimming under head coach David DeGeus.
