Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks junior diver Dawn Hampton was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Diver of the Week, the league office announced February 4.

Hampton, from Hot Springs, Ark., competed in her first-ever diving meet at this weekend's regular season finale against Williams Baptist University. She took first place for the Eagles on the 1-meter board with a score of 107.25. Saturday's diving competition was the program's first in history.
     
The Eagles will head to the SCAC Championships February 12-15 in San Antonio.
