Women's Swim And Dive Team Completes Day One At SCAC Championships

The Eagles completed day one of the SCAC Championships.

San Antonio, Texas-The women's swim and dive team completed day one of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships in San Antonio Thursday. 

The women are in sixth place at the Championships with two days to go.

In the women's 200 free relay, Rosie Wade, Catherine Wellborn, Shalley Coffin and Antalya Meals swam a 1:46.49 for sixth place. Emily Spillers, Skylar Frazier, Paige Vire and Kylee Booher placed 14th with a time of 1:56.48. Coffin swam a 6:05.73 in the 500 free for 19th place. In the 200 IM, Spillers swam a 2:36.35 for 14th place. Vire placed 16th with a time of 2:44.41 and Frazier was 17th with a time of 2:45.10. Wellborn swam a 26:82 for 19th place in the 50 free. In the 400 medley relay, Wade, Vire, Spillers and Meals placed 6th with a time of 4:33.43. Coffin, Frazier, Wellborn and Booher posted a time of 4:51.01 for 14th place.
