Women's Swim And Dive Team Wraps Up SCAC Championships

The women's swim and dive team placed sixth at the SCAC Championships.

Garland, Texas-The women's swim and dive team wrapped up competition at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships in Garland, Texas, Saturday and finished sixth overall.  

The women's 200 medley relay posted a school record of 1:58.37. The team consisted of Rosie WadeSkylar FrazierCatherine Wellborn and Faith Coffin. The team of Shalley Coffin, Natalie Naramore, Emily Spillers and Ariana White placed 13th with a time of 2:04.64. The women's 800 free team set a new program record with a time of 8:27.78. The team was made up of Wade, Spillers, Shalley Coffin and Faith Coffin. The team of White, Arianna Rosario, Naramore and Wellborn placed 12th with a time of 8:55.94. In the 200 free relay, the Eagles placed sixth with a time of 1:44.73. The group consisted of Wade, Coffin, Wellborn and White. In the 500 free, Shalley Coffin placed 20th with a time of 5:54.87 and Madison Tucker placed 22ndwith a time of 6:41.80. In the 50 free of the preliminaries, Faith Coffin placed 19th with a time of 25.98. Welborn was 24th, White was 25th, Kylee Booher was 27th, Kelly Arango was 28th, Amanda Briggs was 29th and Skylar Epperson was 30th. In the 400 IM, Wade placed ninth with a time of 4:54.58. Spillers was 12th, Naramore was 13th and Frazier was 14th. In the 100 fly of the preliminaries, Rosario was 17th with a time of 1:06.62. Wellborn was 18th with a time of 1:06.80 and Arango was 21st with a time of 1:35.74. In the 200 free, Faith Coffin was eighth with a time of 2:01.74. In the 100 breaststroke, Frazier was 13th with a time of 1:18.05, White was 14th with a time of 1:18.82 and Booher was 16th with a time of 1:33.12. in the 100 back, Shalley Coffin was 15th with a time of 1:07.39. Briggs was 18th in the preliminaries with a time of 1:49.49. In the 400 free relay, the Eagles placed sixth with a time of 4:27.06 behind the group of Rosario, Frazier, Wade and Faith Coffin. The group of Shalley Coffin, Naramore, Wellborn and White placed 13th with a time of 4:34.91. In the 1650 free, Wade placed ninth with a time of 18:53.11. Spillers was 11th with a time of 20:18.99. Shalley Coffin was 13th with a time of 2:33.91. Naramore was 14th with a time of 20:45.57. Tucker was 15th with a time of 23:05.96. In the 200 back, Rosario placed 13th with a time of 2:27.05. Tucker was 15th with a time of 2:40.79. Booher was 16th with a time of 2:57.68. In the 100 free of the preliminaries, Faith Coffin was 20th with a time of 56.72. White was 24th with a time of 59.25. Wellborn was 27th with a time of 1:01.00, Arango was 28th with a time of 1:20.65, Epperson was 29th with a time of 1:29.88 and Briggs was 30th with a time of 1:32.59. In the 200 breaststroke, Skylar Frazier was the team's top finisher with a time of 2:49.65. Naramore followed at 15th with a time of 2:55.38. In the 200 fly, Wade placed eighth with a time of 2:23.49. Spillers was 12th with a time of 2:32.93 and Rosario was 13th with a time of 2:34.02. In the 400 free relay, the Eagles placed sixth with a time of 3:51.23. The group consisted of Wade, White, Faith Coffin and Shalley Coffin. The group of Rosario, Spillers, Wellborn and Naramore placed 13th with a time of 4:11.93.  Macy McPhillips placed ninth in the one-meter dive with a score of 316.70. In the three-meter competition, McPhillips was eighth with a score of 333.00. In the 200 back, Arianna Rosario was the team's top finisher with a time of 2:27.05. In the 200 free, Rosie Wade placed eighth with a time of 2:23.49.

Emily Spillers was the team's representative on the SCAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
