Women's Wrestling Receives First National Ranking

The Eagles received their first national ranking from the NWCA.

Clarksville, Ark.-The women's wrestling team received its first national ranking in program history today, the National Wrestling Coaches Association announced this week.

Under the direction of head coach Charlotte Fowler, the Eagles are ranked 19th overall. The Eagles also had its first-ever individual ranking. Rewa Chababo is ranked No. 8 in the nation. The Eagles have posted wins over Fontbonne University, Eureka College and Westminster University thus far.

The 2021-2022 season was the first official season for the program and competed in only individual tournaments. 

The Eagles will compete in the post-season at the NCWWC Regional Championships at Grand Junction, Colorado, February 19. The Eagles will aim to qualify for the Nationals in Iowa March 4-5.
