Mount Berry, Ga.-Three University of the Ozarks women's cross country runners competed in the NCAA III South/Southeast Regional Saturday in Georgia.
Hannah Smith was the first to finish for Ozarks running a 25:30.15 in the 6K to finish 103rd. It was the second fastest time in program history. Caitlyn Bell ran a 28:48.55 to place 191st and Stephanie Alderson followed with a time of 28:49.67 for 192nd place.
There were 213 runners in the women's race. Serena Gale-Butto from Centre won the race with a time of 21:51.
