New head coach Heidi Pinkerton will build around star senior Hannah Smith. Smith finished 11th overall at the American Southwest Conference Championships to earn Second Team All-Conference honors. She competed in the NCAA III Regional Cross Country Championships and finished 62nd overall. She owns the program 5K record (19:52) and 6K record (23:28.04). The Eagles finished seventh overall at the conference championships. The Eagles won the Arkansas D-III Championships in 2017.
