<#IMAGE:1#>After four scoreless innings, the Eagles (8-8, 0-0) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the fifth in game one when Cory Briggs singled in Jimmy Pannell and Brad Broussard. Austin College (8-9) scored once in the bottom half of the inning and then went on to score two more in the sixth to secure a win. Ozarks put a runner in scoring position in the final inning, but the rally was halted when Austin College forced Ozarks into a game-ending double-play. Todd Koch (1-3) took the loss after pitching six innings. He struck out six and allowed only four hits. None of the runs were earned. Logan Kizer went 2-for-2 at the plate. John Glenn recorded a sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth to give Ozarks the lead for good in a 9-7 victory in game two. Glenn knocked in Kizer, who had reached on a walk to start the inning. Briggs would later score in the tenth on a wild pitch to give Ozarks a two-run cushion. The Eagles held a 5-2 advantage after four, but the Kangaroos answered with two in the bottom of the fifth and eighth innings to tie the contest at 6-6. John Scheuring (1-0) received the win after pitching the final three innings. He gave up only one hit during that span and had two strikeouts. Broussard went 3-for-4 with an RBI and run. Bruce Cameron finished 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs. The Eagles will host Mid-America Christian University on March 13 and March 14 at 1:00 p.m.
