<#IMAGE:1#>The Eagles (5-6, 0-0) trailed 8-6 going into the bottom of the ninth, but fought back to send the American Southwest Conference game to the tenth. In the ninth, Brad Broussard reached base with a single to center field. Jimmy Pannell followed with a base hit to left field. Logan Kizer then grounded out to first, but put both runners in scoring position. With two outs pinch hitter Andrew Teaster stepped to the plate and knocked a single to center field to score both runs. However, Concordia-Austin (8-6, 0-0) stopped the momentum when they quickly answered with four runs on five hits in the top of the tenth. Ozarks had a big first inning, scoring four runs on five hits. John Glenn led off with a double and David Smith reached on a bunt. Following a wild pitch, Bruce Cameron reached on an error by the catcher, allowing both runners to score. Robby Finnell then homered to put the Eagles up 4-1. The ASC West Division Tornados rallied in the top of the fifth with four runs, but Ozarks quickly tied the score at 5-5 in the bottom half of the inning when Finnell scored on a Jimmy Pannell ground out. It was a game marred with errors and wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour. The two teams combined for seven errors, five of which belonged to the Eagles. Ozarks went through six different pitchers in the contest, with Logan Kizer (0-1) receiving the loss. The Eagles did out hit the visitors 17-15. Glenn finished 3-for-6 with a pair of runs. Pannell went 3-for-5 with one RBI. Finnell and Teaster each had two RBI. It was Finnell's second homer of the season. The Eagles face the Tornados in a double-header tomorrow beginning at 12:00 p.m. Games against ASC West Division opponents do not count in the conference standings.
