Koch (1-3) allowed just six hits in his second complete game of the season as the San Antonio, Texas, native helped the Eagles (12-14, 6-5 ASC) to a 11-2 win in game one. The Eagles then roughed up LeTourneau (6-13, 2-6 ASC) starter Ed Hurta for 14 hits and nine runs, including Koch's solo homer, to push Ozarks past the YellowJackets 9-5 in game two. 

In game one, Andrew Teaster began his solid day with a triple in the first inning. David Smith promptly followed with a single for one run. LeTourneau got three of their six hits in the contest and hit a two-run homer off Koch to take a 2-1 lead in the second inning. But Koch would allow only two more hits and strike out six the rest of the way in five scoreless innings of work. The Eagles' offense provided Koch with three runs off three hits in the top of the third. Bruce Cameron singled in Teaster to tie the conference affair 2-2. Jeremy Hogan recorded a sacrifice fly to put Ozarks ahead for good and Logan Kizer doubled in another run. Teaster led off the sixth with a solo homer and Koch helped himself by singling in a run to put Ozarks ahead 7-2. The Eagles added four runs in the seventh, two of which came off a Cameron two-run shot over the left field fence. 

Koch was charged with two runs while issuing two walks to pick up his first win of the year.

Ozarks' first three batters went a combined 9-for-11, with Cameron driving in three and Teaster and David Smith driving in two and one, respectively.

In game two, the Eagles would get the benefit of the doubt as they scored four runs in the second frame on no hits. LeTourneau committed three errors and starter Marshall Kincaid three issued walks in the inning to put Ozarks up 4-0. Jeremy Hogan cranked out a solo home run in the third. However, LeTourneau would get back into the game with a three-run fourth and a two-run fifth. The Eagles charged right back in the sixth behind back-to-back solo home runs from Koch and Hogan to gain a 8-5 advantage. 

D.J. Braswell (2-4) received the win after relieving starter Bobby Osburn. Braswell tossed four and two-third hitless innings and fanned eight. Braswell did not allow a hit and issued two walks. Osburn struck out four and gave up three hits. 

Koch drove in one run in his 3-for-4 performance. Hogan and Tad Turner each had two RBI.

The series will finish tomorrow with a nine-inning game starting at 12:00 p.m.
