The Eagles (14-26, 7-10 ASC) were faced with a 3-0 third inning deficit, but rallied for three of their own in the bottom half. The Tigers (14-25, 4-14 ASC) walked in a run and then Tad Turner laced a two-run single to center field to even the score at 3-3. The Eagles' offense followed with a two-run run fourth behind three consecutive two-out singles. Chris Driedric and Mitchell Powers each drove in a run to put the Eagles in front 5-3. Ozarks built another scoring threat in the fifth as Jake West led off with a single. Ian Bryan then reached base when he was hit by a pitch. But Tigers pitcher Chad Cox induced Chris Young into a double play. Cox ended the rally with a ground out. Ozarks starter Brett Wood kept the Tigers off the board in fourth and fifth innings, but the visitors did generate a run in the sixth to trim the deficit to 5-4. Ozarks threatened to open up the game in the seventh as Nick Brill earned a bases loaded walk with one out to move the Eagles ahead 6-4. Driedric recorded a sacrifice fly to score Young. East Texas Baptist evened the score at 7-7 with a three-run eighth. Cory Briggs led off the bottom of the eighth with a double to left field, his 200th career hit. A Tiger error allowed Briggs to score and a sacrifice squeeze scored another to put the Eagles in front 9-7. Turner also scored in the frame. 

Bill Smith (2-1) collected the win after tossing one and one-third innings. 

Mitchell Powers and West tallied two hits apiece. Driedric, Powers, Turner and Brill drove in two runs.
