In game two, the Eagles (4-15, 1-2 ASC) allowed six runs in the final frame as Texas-Dallas (11-8, 2-1 ASC) turned a 5-3 game into a 11-5 win.

In game one, the Comets had all singles until Diemer recorded his double in the sixth inning to push across two runs. The Eagles (4-14, 1-1 ASC) mounted a comeback in the bottom half of the inning loading the bases with one out. Texas-Dallas inserted Max Willard and a wild pitch allowed Ozarks to climb within 5-4. Willard then recorded a strikeout and a groundout to end the inning.

Tony Morales got an RBI single in the third and Kurt Shemanske recorded an RBI single in the fourth to tie the game 3-3. Ozarks left ten runners on base during the contest.

Ozarks had six hits, all coming from different players.

Tyler Erickson (1-3) took the loss as the starter. He went six innings and struck out three.

In game two, the Eagles held a 3-2 lead after three, but Texas-Dallas evened the score in the fourth and eventually took the lead in the sixth. Texas-Dallas increased its lead to 5-3 in the top of the eighth. 

Ozarks loaded the bases in the bottom half of the inning with one out only to see the Comets record a strikeout and a fly out to halt the rally. The Eagles left ten men on base in the game.

Shemanske paced Ozarks with a 3-for-5, two RBI performance at the plate.

Starter Bobby Osburn (0-3) pitched eight solid innings in the loss. He fanned six.
