Eagles Hold On For 7-5 Win

Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles had a decisive four-run fourth inning and then held off Hendrix College in the bottom of the ninth for a 7-5 win Tuesday night.
   
Ozarks (7-10) had just two hits in the fourth inning, but took advantage of one Hendrix error and two walks. After four complete innings, Ozarks held a 4-3 lead, and then added a run in the fifth and two in the sixth. Taylor Parker highlighted the sixth with a two-run single. Hendrix (8-11) eventually battled back in the ninth behind two hits. Freddy Prince took over the final frame and struck out three batters to end the game. Hendrix had the bases loaded with two outs, but Prince caught Westin Rovover looking at a called third strike.
    
Parker finished 3-for-5 with two RBI. Nathan Cedor (1-1) received the win after tossing two innings in relief.

Ozarks will travel to Belton, Texas, to face Mary Hardin-Baylor March 21-22.
